Finding the right private teacher is an important part of a young musician’s development. NJK Lesson Connections helps students and families connect with experienced professional musicians and educators who can support their individual musical journey.

Tell us a little about your student—their instrument, experience, musical interests, goals, location, and scheduling needs—and we’ll help identify an instructor who may be a great fit.

A Flexible Approach to Private Study

Every student and every family has different needs. Lesson Connections gives students and instructors the freedom to create a lesson experience that works best for them.

Once a connection is made, families work directly with the instructor to determine lesson days and times, frequency, lesson length, location, and whether instruction takes place in person or virtually. Lesson rates and payment arrangements are also established directly between the instructor and family.

Our network includes experienced professional musicians and educators offering instruction in jazz, classical, and fundamental instrumental technique.

Rather than simply providing a list of names, we take the time to learn about each student and help make a thoughtful connection based on their instrument, experience, musical goals, location, scheduling needs, and instructor availability.
